Laura Longarini
Hot Yoga Instructor
Born and raised in Kingston, Ontario, I took my first Bikram Yoga class at 18 and was immediately drawn to the discipline, intensity, and healing power of the practice. That early spark ignited a lifelong journey that eventually led me to complete my official Bikram Yoga Teacher Training in Los Angeles in 2011.
Now approaching 41, I bring over a decade of teaching experience to every class, with a focus on presence, precision, and creating a supportive environment for all levels. My goal is to help students reconnect with themselves—mentally, physically, and emotionally—through the powerful structure of the Bikram series.
Level up holds a special place in my heart. When I moved to Toronto at 22—before I was a teacher—it was the very first space I practiced in after leaving my hometown. To now be teaching here, years later, feels like a full-circle moment and a deep honor.

Todd Mickolwin
Hot Yoga, HIIT & Vinyasa Yoga Instructor
I began a health kick in 2000 trying out many different activities. I fell in love with Hot Yoga during my first class but didn't start a regular practice until 2009 when I began running ultramarathons. I found yoga to be perfect cross training for my endurance training. After almost a decade of daily practice I went to Rishikesh India in 2020 to do a 200 hour teacher training. Levelup allowed me to begin my teaching career in Vinyasa, instructing a fun class of movement that offered challenges to dedicated yogis but was also beginner friendly and for everybody. I took a second 200 hour training to focus on the 26 and 2 series and am now teaching Hot Yoga. When I'm not running or teaching you'll often find me sweating beside you in the hot room!

Sonia Afonso
Hot Yoga, Yin Yoga, Inferno Pilates and Sculpt Instructor
After ten years of martial arts training that resulted in reconstructive knee surgery, I needed a practice that would help me return to sport. In 2005, I discovered hot yoga, and it quickly became a transformative part of my healing journey as it was the only practice that helped me fully regain what I had lost to my injury. More importantly, it taught me to trust my body again.
Exploring the human body through physical fitness has been a constant passion throughout my life as reflected in all of the sports and activities I have done, along with my academic pursuits which have included a Bachelor’s in Kinesiology, a Bachelor’s in Physiotherapy, and a Doctorate in Physiotherapy. In addition to the physical, I’m also a student of meditation, weaving some of the gems that I have learned into my classes. Not only is the connection of mind and body crucial to any yoga practice, integrating the mind with any other physical activity will take your performance to another level.
With my various certifications, I strive to create safe, inclusive spaces for all. Whether it’s leading a fun, high energy class or guiding an introspective, nurturing class, my hope is that my students leave feeling inspired and empowered. Can’t wait to see you on the mat!
