I discovered yoga in 2009 after more than two decades of competitive sports and working as a carpenter. Years of repetitive movement and physical demands had left me with persistent low back and hip discomfort. After beginning a regular yoga practice—attending classes 4–6 times each week—I quickly noticed better sleep, more energy, and, over time, lasting relief from the aches and pains I had come to accept as normal.
Inspired by the impact yoga had on my own life, I became a teacher in 2012. Since then, I've been passionate about helping others experience the physical, mental, and emotional benefits of a consistent practice.
For me, yoga is about much more than flexibility or fitness. It's an opportunity to better understand ourselves, connect with others, and improve our quality of life. Teaching has shown me the incredible resilience of the human body and spirit, and the meaningful difference we can make in each other's lives. My goal is to create a welcoming environment where students of all experience levels can move with confidence, build strength, and leave each class feeling healthier, happier, and more connected than when they arrived.
