Welcome to Levelup Academy Certification program! Founded in 2022 as LYPA, we are excited to have conducted our first Yin Yoga Certification in April 2023. Our comprehensive programs are structured to take place over consecutive weekends, customized to fit the courses you select. Come along as we broaden our offerings, including our successful Hot Yoga Certification completed in February 2024.

Philosophy and Practice

At Levelup, we see teaching as a means to further our journey in the practice and to share our passion for it with others. Our educators are dedicated to upholding the highest standards of education, guaranteeing quality, professionalism, and integrity.

Yoga Instructor Certification

Our Yoga teaching philosophy integrates the insights and wisdom of Hot Yoga, Vinyasa Yoga, Yin Yoga, along with the latest HIIT and some power elements! Your course program will detail the type of certification you are pursuing.

In all our Yoga programs, you will gain a scientific understanding of the body, functional anatomy, physical adjustments, and the physiology of Yoga.

You will receive guidance on how to structure your own class sequences, ensuring you are ready to create a program for any skill level.

Graduates who are prepared will receive guidance and gain practical experience by teaching some of Levelup’s community classes. After completing all required exams and tasks, you will earn your own Levelup Academy Certification and be equipped with the knowledge needed to begin teaching right away.

Teaching is an ongoing learning journey. Your practice and experience form the basis for creative teaching. We are committed to providing you with the right tools to teach effectively and enhance your personal practice along the way.

Becoming a Group Fitness or Yoga Instructor can provide you with flexible and fulfilling opportunities in various areas of your life, whether you aim to teach part-time, full-time, or simply wish to deepen your own practice.

After finishing our Instructor training program, you'll gain access to new career paths such as:

Teaching classes at a professional studio.
Leading private yoga classes or workshops.
Becoming a teacher trainer or studio director.
Starting your own studio.

Keep in mind that the requirements for certification and licensing to teach as a Yoga or Fitness instructor vary by city and country. Depending on your location, you might need additional licensing to teach.

Graduation Requirements for Trainees

To graduate, trainees need to meet the following criteria:

Complete class coursework.
Finish all assigned readings and homework.
Accumulate at least 50 hours of personal practice. A recorded video class might be necessary for the selected course graduation.
Conduct a minimum of 3 classes with at least three participants each.
Pass the final written and practical examinations successfully.
Be present for all scheduled class lectures in person.
